Every year the FabLab community comes together to exchange ideas about modern manufacturing technology, digital possibilities and innovative product developments in a global conference. Representatives from science, politics, industry, teaching and from over 2.000 FabLabs worldwide get into conversation, discuss and share new ideas. Especially this year: Due to Corona, the conference is taking place digitally and is therefore open to an even larger community. The focus of the free online conference is not only on the novelties of the FabLab scene, but also on the question of how this can contribute to overcoming societal challenges, for example by solving the COVID-19 pandemic.
As part of the FABxLive events of the Fab Foundation, various lectures, symposia and interactive workshops will take place from July 27 to 31 and beyond, moderated by international experts. Those interested can also find out about the results of the conference afterwards, which are made available to the community through recordings.
